Race of the Day: Richard Hudson (NC-08)
Richard Hudson secured the Republican nomination to represent North Carolina’s 8th district after Tuesday’s runoff vote. He's committed to getting our economy moving again and is known for his conservative, pro-business principles.
He is committed to cutting taxes, reducing excessive regulations and fully funding worker-retraining programs at our community colleges. He is pro-life, supports our 2nd amendment rights, and believes that government has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.
Richard doesn’t support government takeover of healthcare and will work to repeal ObamaCare.
While Richard’s record speaks for itself, he also has the support of individuals such as North Carolina Governor Jim Martin who has endorsed Richard saying, “Richard Hudson is a conservative we can count on. He has worked for decades to build the Republican Party in North Carolina. He will be an outstanding member of Congress.”
Mike Huckabee also endorsed Richard when he said, ““Richard Hudson is the kind of man we need in Congress. Pro-life, pro-family and pro-jobs, I know Richard will be a consistent vote for conservative values in North Carolina. Further, I know Richard will be a solid vote to repeal Obamacare and will never support a stimulus, bailout or government giveaway. Richard has my full support and trust.”
In November, Richard is running against the Incumbent Democrat Rep. Larry Kissell. Kissell. It’s crucial that Hudson is elected so he can stand up for conservative values and protect the constituents of the district.
